Statewide Housing Statistics
4th Quarter 2008    

The average cost of a home in Oklahoma has increased by 2 percent compared to the fourth quarter of 2007. In the fourth quarter of 2008 the average cost of a home sold was $145,911 compared to $142,852 in the fourth quarter of 2007. Statewide, 9,455 homes were sold in the fourth quarter of 2008. This is 18.3 percent less than the number of homes sold in the fourth quarter of 2007 in which 11,574 homes were sold in the state.
